About us

Welcome to Temple Of Christ Minstry, a global family united in Christ. We embrace diverse tribes, nationalities, cultures, and languages, extending a warm invitation to all nations on earth in the spirit of peace, grace, and love in Jesus Christ.

Our Foundation: Rooted in Reformed Theology

  • Scripture Alone: The infallible Word of God guides our lives.
  • Christ Alone: He is our sole mediator through His death on the Cross.
  • Grace Alone: God’s grace is the only method of salvation and justification.
  • Faith Alone: Justification before God is through faith.
  • Glory to God Alone: Our ambition in all we say, think, and do.

The Depth of God’s Grace Explored

  • Divine Election: God, in His great love, chose those to be saved in Jesus Christ.
  • Fixed for Eternity: The number of the Elect is eternally fixed; none will be lost.
  • Redemption Through Christ: Predestined for salvation, the redeemed are called to faith by the Holy Spirit.
  • Demonstration of God’s Mercy: All is done for God’s mercy to be demonstrated to the praise of His glorious grace.
  • Accompanied by Mystery: The doctrine of Election calls for humility, gratitude, assurance, evangelistic passion, and eternal praise.

Charismatic Expression: Empowered by the Holy Spirit

  • Holy Spirit’s Provision: Christ’s love is manifested through the Holy Spirit.
  • Diverse Spiritual Gifts: Given by God’s grace for the glory of Christ, reflecting the diversity of the Church.
  • For the Good of the Church: All spiritual gifts actively contribute to the health and witness of the church until Christ’s return.

The Church: A Unified Body of Christ

Temple of Christ Ministry embodies the concept of the Body of Christ, where each individual and congregation around the world plays a vital, unique, and indispensable role.

Devoted to Prayer and Study

We are devoted to daily individual prayer and study of God’s Word, as well as regular corporate prayer and study sessions, seeking to grow in our understanding and relationship with God.

A Relational Church: Impacting Lives Locally and Globally

As a Relational Church, we prioritize connections:

  • Relationship with Jesus: Acknowledging Him as the head of our Church.
  • Connections with Believers: Forming parts of the universal church, fostering unity.
  • Engagement with Neighbors: Displaying God’s love and grace to everyone, echoing the Apostle Paul’s teaching of being all things to all men.

Leadership by Elders: Guided by Biblical Principles

Our leadership is comprised of Elders, deriving its requirements and function from the New Testament, ensuring a biblical and spiritual foundation for our church community.

Join us on this exciting and transformative journey as we seek to display God’s love, grace, and truth to the world, inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit. Be a part of our global family, sharing in the joy of life in Christ.

The purpose and the vision of the church

People are longing to hear, learn and understand God´s truth. Our focus is to proclaim and communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe, in accordance with the word of God, that the ground is fertile, and Jesus has told us that the harvest is great, but that the workers are few. So, in line with Jesus’ instructions, we pray for workers to join us in the harvest. We can then disciple those workers to grow into leaders, and missionaries so they can teach and guide fellow believers then plant churches in Skåne, Sweden, and beyond. Those churches are to impact and influence the local communities both practically and spiritually in accordance with the word of God.

Essentials of our Faith

The Infallible Authority of Scripture:
We firmly believe in the self-attesting nature of all Scripture, recognizing it as Truth that demands our unreserved submission in every aspect of life. The infallible Word of God, comprising the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, stands as a complete and unified testimony to God’s redemptive acts, ultimately culminating in the incarnation of the Living Word, our Lord Jesus Christ. Uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Bible serves as the supreme and final authority on all matters it addresses.

The One God in Three Persons:
Our belief centers on one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, existing infinitely perfect and eternally in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. To Him belongs all honor, glory, and praise for eternity.

Jesus Christ, Our Living Word:
Jesus Christ, the Living Word, took on flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. As true God and true man united in one Person forever, He sacrificially died on the cross for our sins according to the Scriptures. Rising bodily from the dead on the third day, He ascended into heaven, where, seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now serves as our High Priest and Mediator.

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit has been sent to glorify Christ and apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. Convicting us of sin and drawing us to the Savior, the Holy Spirit indwells our hearts, giving new life, empowering us, imparting gifts for service, instructing and guiding us into all truth, and sealing us for the day of redemption.

Salvation by God’s Free Grace:
Our salvation, arising from our estrangement from God and condemnation due to sinfulness, is wholly dependent upon the work of God’s free grace. Those who place their faith in Christ alone for salvation have God’s righteousness credited to them, justifying them in His sight. Only those born of the Holy Spirit and receiving Jesus Christ become children of God and heirs of eternal life.

The True Church and Its Imperfection:
The true Church is comprised of all individuals who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, are united in the body of Christ. While the Church finds visible expression in local congregations where the Word of God is preached in its purity, sacraments are administered in integrity, scriptural discipline is practiced, and loving fellowship is maintained, it remains imperfect. For its perfecting, the Church eagerly awaits the return of its Lord.

The Second Coming of Jesus:
We anticipate the personal, visible, and bodily return of Jesus to the earth to judge both the living and the dead, culminating in the consummation of history and the eternal plan of God. In anticipation, we echo the sentiment, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (Rev. 22:20).

The Great Commission and Total Commitment:
The Lord Jesus Christ, commanding all believers, directs us to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and make disciples of all nations. Obedience to this Great Commission necessitates total commitment to “Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.” This commitment calls us to a life of self-denying love and service, recognizing that we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand for us to walk in (Eph. 2:10).

Our core values

International:
In the embrace of Christ as our head, our church family spans across diverse tribes, nationalities, cultures, and languages. We extend a warm welcome to individuals from every corner of the world, embracing them with the spirit of peace, grace, and love in the name of Jesus Christ.

Reformed:
At the core of our beliefs are five fundamental truths that shape the essence of our church. We hold Scripture as the infallible word of God, acknowledging Christ as the sole mediator between God and humanity through His sacrificial death on the Cross. Salvation and justification come exclusively through God’s grace, and faith serves as the means of justification. In all we say, think, and do, our ultimate ambition is to bring glory to God.

Delving into the doctrine of grace, we affirm that before the foundation of the world, God, in His immense love, chose those He would save in Jesus Christ. This election is a free gift, not contingent on human merit or effort, grounded entirely in God’s sovereign will. The number of the Elect is fixed for eternity, and those chosen by God will never be lost. The doctrine of Election, accompanied by mystery, calls us to humility, gratitude, assurance, evangelistic passion, and eternal praise for the undeserved grace of God in Jesus Christ.

Charismatic:
Christ’s love for the church is manifested through the Holy Spirit, who graciously provides for its health and growth. The Spirit sovereignly bestows gifts upon believers for the glory of Christ and the edification of the church. These diverse spiritual gifts, given by God’s grace, reflect the Church’s diversity, emphasizing our interconnectedness. All spiritual gifts remain active for the church’s good and its witness to the world. We eagerly desire and practice these gifts, anticipating their continuation until Christ’s return.

Church:
The church, as the Body of Christ, consists of individual members and congregations worldwide. Similar to the human body, each part performs a vital, unique, and indispensable role. We are committed to daily individual prayer and the study of God’s Word. Additionally, we engage in regular corporate prayer and study, fostering a Relational Church where connections extend to Jesus, fellow believers, and the broader community. Our mission is to display God’s love and grace to all, echoing the Apostle Paul’s teaching that we must adapt to reach everyone.

Our church leadership is comprised of Elders, guided by the requirements and functions outlined in the New Testament.
